Lamb is an animal that is well adapted to Minho’s natural conditions. Typically, it’s a grazing animal and its nutritional needs are influenced by the local natural vegetation, which adds distinctive characteristics to theses animal’s meat. The lamb is part of the region’s culture and as proof they have the most famous dish: ‘cabrito à moda do Minho’, traditionally served in Easter Sunday.
