A space recently opened in the city that conquers us not only for the showcase, but for the delicious smell that crosses us as soon as we enter, and lets us salivate before we even order.

The situation in their country has left this couple apprehensive and looking for a better place to live. After a tourist trip through Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais and Porto, they decided that Portugal could be the country they were looking for. The videos of Alexandra’s from blog “Olhar Brasileiro” made them choose this city, where they live already for a year.
When they arrived they were delighted with the Portuguese cakes, but quickly missed the old habits they had in their town, like the slice of cake in the middle of the afternoon with a juice or coffee. “Mom, I wanted to eat a slice of cake as much as in Brazil, but we did not find it here,” one of the daughters told her several times. Thus, they decided to open the Atelier das Delícias, with Brazilian mass cakes, handmade chocolates and typical snacks. The manufacturing is in a space in Maximinos, some made by the hands of the owner, others by a Brazilian colleague.

They are cakes that can convert even the least greasy: chocolatudo, lemon tart, kiss cake, volcano cake milk nest or brigadeiro, tarte mousse crunchy peanut, churros or red velvet with brigadeiro. And in the menu you will always find new products, such as the new line of gourmet coffees, where you can find Domino (with condensed milk), Moka (with chocolate) and flavored ones (mint, cherry or hazelnut).

Birthday parties were also not forgotten, so the party kit was created with an average of 350 snacks: mini pillows, mini cheese bread, mini pies with catupiri cheese and chicken, mini kibi, meat and mini chicken cakes with catupiri, or the happy hour kit, thought for the weekend at home with friends. If you want, you can still celebrate the anniversary in this space with a menu of your choice, and a personalized cake.

The philosophy here is as sweet as its products: “May our sweetness be contagious.”

For Valentine’s Day, Christmas or other commemorative dates, the store also offers small boxes with brigadeiros or truffles, accompanied by a mini bottle of port wine or liquor (it costs € 14), a box of 150 grams pistachio chocolate chips, almonds, walnuts or pink pepper (has the cost of € 6.50), or kits with various products.

Be sure to visit the Atelier das Delícias Braga at Rua Cónego Rafael Álvares da Costa, 20, in São Victor.
